What does month to month mean?
The lease automatically renews each month unless you give Northern Land Storage notice that you are moving out.
What is the procedure to rent a unit?
Give Northern Land Storage a call to discuss inventory and rental rates. If you would like to see or rent a unit, arrangements can usually be made to meet you at the unit.
What is the procedure for vacating a unit?
There is a 15 day notice to move out. Call or notify Northern Land Storage by mail or E-mail. Make make sure your account is current. Remove all items from unit and sweep clean. Shut the door and make sure to take the lock with you.
What kind of lock should I use?
Be sure to use a high quality lock to secure your unit. For example, use a disc lock in which the bolt is covered. Regular padlocks can be cut with a bolt cutters.
When is my rent due?
Rent is due on the first of the month and is late if not received by the 15th. A $20 late fee is then applied. See payment options.

Call Northern Land Storage at anytime. Be sure to leave a message if your call is not answered right away.
Can I have a auction or garage sale out of my unit?
Sorry, they are not allowed.
Do I need insurance?
Storage is at your own risk. Northern Land Storage is not responsible for any loss or damage to stored items. To have coverage for your stored property, please contact an insurance agent.
